13th Congress of Iranian Ceramic Society & The 3rd International Conference on Ceramics
13th Congress of Iranian Ceramic Society & The 3rd International Conference on Ceramics were held from May 22nd to 25th at Sharif University of Technology. In this biennial conference, which is known as the greatest scientific event in the field of ceramics in Iran, our faculty members, Prof. Ali Nemati and Dr. Adrine Malek Khachatourian took over as Scientific committee chair and Executive manager, respectively. The event offered researchers in academia and industry an opportunity to present their latest achievements in a wide variety of topics including Porcelains, Glaze, Tiles, Pigments & Inks , high temperature & refractory materials, glass and glass–ceramics, bioceramics & medical applications, electrical, optical, and magnetic ceramics, structural oxide and non-oxide ceramics, ceramics for environmental and energy applications, ceramic thin films and coatings and innovative processes and manufacturing techniques. Regarding their technical quality, 147 out of 154 papers were accepted for 64 posters and 83 oral presentations.
